Tim serves as founding partner and visual effects supervisor at Torpedo Pictures. He is also a member of the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC).​Tim’s career spans 24 years in visual effects and feature animation. Having worked at world-class studios across Canada, the US, and the UK, Tim has made significant contributions to iconic films such as "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," and "Watchmen." His credits also extend to prominent TV series including "Game of Thrones," "Vikings," and "Snowpiercer." Tim’s diverse work experience has enriched his ability to handle a variety of cinematic styles in both live action and animated features, notably “The Wild,” “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” and “The Nut Job.”

In 2013, Tim co-founded Torpedo Pictures, a visual effects studio based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Over the past decade, Torpedo has contributed to over 50 productions, including "Halo," "Orphan Black: Echoes," "The Expanse,"  "The Handmaid’s Tale," and "Altered Carbon."

Tim is passionate about fostering creative experience and skill. He has consulted as a VFX supervisor on numerous short films for producing and directing fellows at the American Film Institute (AFI).

When he is not working, Tim enjoys cooking meals with his wife. Together, they enjoy travelling and discovering new hiking trails. Tim also cherishes his time relaxing by the lake or pool with a good fiction or fantasy novel.
